The Story
From Arlington to the pros.
Roger Rojas is the founder of RR Skills Lab and a lifelong student of the game. Growing up in Arlington, Virginia, he competed from U9 through U18 with Arlington Impact Red, winning multiple Virginia State Cup titles and a US Youth Soccer National League Championship. He went on to play with the D.C. United Academy and gained international experience with HIK Hellerup U19 in Denmark.
At Old Dominion University, Roger made 49 appearances as a four-year starter and helped lead the Monarchs to a Conference USA Tournament Championship. After college, he played professionally with Michigan Stars FC (NISA) and captained Virginia Dream FC, winning multiple championships and earning a reputation as a leader on and off the field.
He has since built an equally strong career in coaching and club leadership — working with Virginia Beach City FC, Arlington Soccer Club, FC Tucson, and Arizona Surf Sierra Vista, where he serves as Director of Coaching. He coached at the Semi-Pro level with Virginia Dream FC and also serves as the club's Director of Soccer Operations.
At RR Skills Lab, Roger brings every chapter of that journey into his training. His goal is simple: develop technically confident, creative, and intelligent players — and help them find their path at every level of the game.

Philosophy
Why RR Skills Lab.
Roger started RR Skills Lab because he saw a gap — players who love the game but aren't getting the technical development they need to reach their potential. Club soccer is great, but most players need more focused, personalized time with the ball.
Every session at RR Skills Lab is built around the same technical principles Roger learned at the highest levels of the game — applied specifically to each player's age, position, and goals.
